Now on Twitter

Dear Friends in the Passion,

I took another step yesterday in my journey through the 21st Century.  I am now on Twitter!  You can find my tweets @preachermancp that is if you have found your way to the world of Twitter.

It was suggested that I join Twitter so that I can continue to promote my faith, my preaching and my running.  I have to admit I never thought I would find myself in the world of Twitter.  I heard people talking about it.  I even watch the Pope send his first tweet, but as for me I thought it was something beyond me.

But I as I always say part of life is change.  It you are not changing, you are not growing and if you are not growing chances are you are not alive.  Life by its very nature has to change.  If you bought a plant for your house or apartment and it is the same as when you bought it, you bought an artificial plant.  Things that are alive must grow, must change.

Now I do not know what affect Twitter will have on my life.  I am not sure how many people, if any will sign up to follow me, (though as of today I do have 7 followers).  But Twitter is a part of our communtication world right so what not use it in the best sense!  It seems like a place where one can find people you may never have found and connect with them, share faith and a relationship with God.

I plan on sharing my faith as I tweet, perhaps helping myself and others find God in the ordinary moments of life.  I was think to myself this morning, "I wonder how St. Paul would use Twitter if he were around today?"  I think St. Paul would have had a million followers and tweet to us everyday!

So if you are into the world of tweets check me out on Twitter, if you are not stop back here at my blog and I will fill you in on the progress.  Either way let me know what you think these days about Faith, The Church, Twitter, Running...Life!

Peace in Christ's Passion...Fr. Paul

I was a regular retreatant at the Spiritual Center in Riverdale & was most upset when it closed. However, I have been wondering what happened or what will be happening to that beautiful property overlooking the river. Thank you for your update.

Just learned that the center in Riverdale closed. Is the chapel there still available for prayer and a visit? I am so sorry that this closing has happened. I have seen the chapel so many times online. And I really wanted to check it out in person whenever I made it back to NYC. Tim

Hi Father Paul I was a regular retreatant and I would like to know if the retreat house was sold and to whom? I went to the retreat at Bishop Molloy and the place is beautiful but I still miss the Riverdale retreat house especially the chapel. I always felt such peace there with God. Hope you are doing well. I would like a response, please. Thank You. Respectfully, Diana Cruz
